How to dress a conservative women in her work day was the question asked by Lela Rose’ new collection. Many people found the answer in the show that was released on NEW YORK, September 11, 2011. The collection was vivid and energetic in its prints, colors, fabrics and cuts.
Prints were floral ones.
Colors were grey, chartreuse, neon tangerine, coral, plum, ivory, electric navy, gold, faded lemon, faded neon pink, nude, and black.
The employed fabrics were chiffon, tweed, twill, voile, organza, lace, stretch cotton, silk, burlap, canvas, and gauze.
Cuts weaved from dresses, jackets and skirts. Dresses were straight, close, fitted, with cap sleeves and with knee or floor length. Jackets were blazers or car coats. Skirts also were a-line shaped with knee length.
Finally, the designer used necklaces and strappy sandals as matching accessories.
